To set up the Auto Lap feature, press MODE until you enter SET mode. Then press ST/LAP until AUTO LAP is highlighted. Press VIEW/OK to enter the Auto Lap setting mode. The battery is already installed and is not designed to be user-replaceable. The battery can be recharged by using the included charging clip.
