Honey Stinger is a local Colorado company that I tried while running my first marathon in Steamboat Springs. In stark contrast to the other energy gel/goo/nasty products out there, Honey Stinger Gold is honey with some electrolytes. It is not too thick, not too gel-like, and definitely not too over-flavored. It is honey, yummy eat-it-out-of-the-packet at KFC yummy.
