Q:
Hi,
I have benefited from using standard Sorbothane inserts many years, suggested by a doctor who was a hiker. Sorbothane inserts were sold in my local stores when I first wore them. I think I recall a retailer saying awhile ago that they didn't make a ton of money selling them because they last so long. I've been without them for a time and it is great to be able to order these online. I am interested in trying the graphite arch insoles at present.
Having no arches, some support is welcome, yet I prefer the arch area not be too rigid. I have worn some fairly rigid arch support insoles, but a podiatrist recently thought less rigid for me might be better. I am hoping your inserts are more comfortable. Please give some ideas on the height and flexibility in the arch area of this Ultra Graphite Arch Insole. Thanks.Asked on 3/24/2013 by Maya from Lansing, MI1 answer
A:
The Sorbothane Ultra Graphite Insole does have a very rigid arch. If your podiatrist suggested a less rigid arch support, then the Ultra Graphite might not be the best solution for you. It's tough to make any sort of recommendation without seeing your feet in person. Since you are working with a podiatrist, the best course of action might be to consult further with your podiatrist to find out exactly what type/brand of insole he or she would recommend for your foot.Answered on 3/25/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports

A:
Yes. Sorbothane changed the name, but the product is the same. We checked our inventory and the items we have in stock all say "Ultra Graphite Arch" on the packaging. Our website is being updated to reflect his new information.Answered on 4/9/2012 by Kathe from Holabird Sports
