Comments about Timex Ironman Sleek 150-Lap TapScreen 5K253:
I have been buying Timex Ironman watches for years. Seems I need to replace them every once in while because of a scratch or something breaks and it is not worth replacing. This is a very useful training watch and the touch (more like a hit) to start and stop the chrono and timer is useful. Watch might be a bit big and bulky for some, but this makes it easy to read which is also helpful when timing for training or for aging eyes :)

Comments about Timex Ironman Sleek 150-Lap TapScreen 5K253:
I received this watch as a gift a few months ago, and this watch is pretty cool. I am a competitive track runner, and the accuracy and ease of taking my splits is imperative. the tap is so simple and can be performed easily mid-stride. In response to the review about the tap sensitivity, my coach and I both have this watch and if set to light, you can clap your hands together and it will split a lap, so the sensitivity is very good, and besides, the reviewer who wrote "If accuracy of laps is important, this watch is useless" obviously is not using the device correctly and, if they really were that concerned with the accuracy of laps, THERE IS A SPLIT BUTTON ON THE SIDE OF THE WATCH. Bottom line, the watch is comfortable, easy to use, accurate and perfect for my use.

Comments about Timex Ironman Sleek 150-Lap TapScreen 5K253:
Tap screen frequently requires multiple taps (even when set to light) to record a lap. If accuracy of laps is important, this watch is useless. If it precise accuraccy is not that much of an issue, this is not a problem.
However, the tap problem requires runners to take their eyes off the road to be sure that that the tap worked, which in some environments could be a safety risk.
If these issues are not a concern (they are not a concern to me), you should be very pleased with the watch.
