Upper: Medial and lateral supports integrated into the lacing system provide increased support. Padded air mesh tongue and heel collar. Combination of mesh with synthetic provides breathability, support and durability.
Midsole: ASICS GEL® cushioning system in the forefoot provides excellent shock absorption. EVA sockliner provides increased cushioning. Trusstic System® consists of a molded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. California Slip Last construction allows for increased flexibility and light weight by stitching the upper around the outside of the insole.
Outsole: Combination non-marking gum and solid rubber provides traction and durability. Flex grooves increase flexibility.

I use this pair of sports shoes for indoor racquet sports on a hard surface and have found them to be excellent for this use. They have excellent grip, are lightweight and are robustly built. They are breathable and seem to absorb the results of feet that received an energetic workout. Given the price, for me they are great value for what I paid for them. While initially seeming to be very solid with little give, when wearing them, they actually conform to one's feet and I've had no problems with any impact issues. Definitely recommended.
