Q:
Can you use regular tennis balls with this machine? The specifications do not make mention of this. I recently purchased a Lobster model and do not like using the pressureless tennis balls as I believe they cause more strain and they have injured my elbow and my son's shoulder.Asked on 2/24/2013 by F. A:
The SAM P1 can be used with regular tennis ball, without issue.Answered on 2/25/2013 by Community Answer from NoneA:
Yes, regular tennis balls will work with this machine. Even though pressureless tennis balls are heavier than normal tennis balls, they are usually recommended for ball machines because they provide a more consistent feed. When you use conventional, pressurized tennis balls some will have more or less pressure than others so the ball machine's feed won't be as consistent.Answered on 2/26/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
