With a 50% slower ball speed, kids have more time to react and set up each shot for more consistency and control when learning. These balls are great for tennis players that are new to the game. I've using them to hit with my daughter, 13 and my grandson 9. The balls allow them to get a feel for rallying. My son-in-law would like to play with them all the time. Says it would make the game more fun.
