Q:
I have a wide foot with a high arch- is this the right tennis shoe for me?Asked on 7/27/2012 by Norman from United States1 answer
A:
The K-Swiss Defier RS is cut pretty standard as far as width, so it may or may not fit well, depending upon how wide your foot is. Arch structure is less important in tennis shoes than running shoes since tennis players spend the majority of their time on their forefoot. That being said, high arches tend to be more rigid and transmit more shock to the legs, so getting a well-cushioning shoe—like the Defier RS—can go a long way to keeping you comfortable on the court.Answered on 8/2/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
