In tennis, 7.0 is considered the gold standard, and that's just what K-Swiss seeks to deliver with the Ultrascendor Low. Featuring a heavy-duty outsole along with a durable leather upper, the Ultrascendor will keep going as long as you do.
Upper: Perforated leather upper provides comfort, durability and support. A durable Helcor Toe Wrap provides increased durability to combat toe drag. Secure-Fit Lacing System provides exceptional midfoot support for increased support during lateral movements. Padded heel collar and tongue.
Midsole: Full length EVA midsole provides cushioning and comfort. Shock Spring cushioning technology in the heel absorbs impact shock. Cushion Board Construction. Removable perforated sockliner provides increased cushioning with breathability. TPU shank provides increased torsional stability and midfoot integrity.
Outsole: Durable Aösta 7.0 rubber outsole with mixed herringbone traction pattern and forefoot pivot point. DragGuard in toe and heel provides increased durability in these high wear areas. Forefoot flex grooves provide increased flexibility.

After struggling with plantar fasciitis for several months, the K Swiss Ultrascendor was recommended by a tennis friend. Though there are more stylish tennis shoes on the market, and I have tried a couple, I always return to these. They are sturdy, comfortable and help to eliminate foot pain. I highly recommend them.

We find that the K-Swiss Ultrascendor Low provides a roomy toe box. Even though it is technically not a wide width, we feel that the Ultrascendor is slightly roomier than the Prince Scream, so it should comfortably accommodate your feet.Answered on 4/23/2012 by Dustin from Holabird Sports
