Q:
Can this shoe be used for basketball? I've noticed that some low top tennis shoes are now being worn on the basketball court.Asked on 9/6/2012 by Coach1 answer
A:
Like basketball, tennis requires many side-to-side movements so these shoes should provide plenty of lateral support. The biggest difference may be the outsole. Since tennis shoes are designed to withstand the abrasion of hard tennis courts, you may notice that the outsole is stiffer than the outsole on basketball shoes. These tennis shoes are also not designed for use on the wooden floors of indoor basketball courts so you may have some trouble maintaining traction.Answered on 9/10/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
