Anatomic Construction: Inspired by anatomical bone structures, Dunlop has inverted the beam in 3 key areas to minimize torsional deflection for enhanced control and precision.

Cx Technology: The Cx technology is inspired by the wings of birds of prey to reduce aerodynamic drag in the hoop and increase power.

Anti-Friction Grommet System:Inspired by the sandfish skink, Dunlop’s unique grommet technology reduces friction for enhanced power.

Aeroskin: Reduces aerodynamic drag by up to 25%* for increased racquet speed and power.

Aeroskin is inspired by the skin of the most highly evolved marine predator, the shark. Its streamlined body is covered in microscopic riblets which create localized turbulence which in turn reduces drag. This allows the shark to slice through the water with more speed and strike with more power.

Like the shark, Aeroskin uses a unique textured skin strategically applied to the surface of the racquet which helps to smooth airflow around the racquet to reduce aerodynamic drag. This makes the racquet quicker through the air to generate enhanced power, improved maneuverability and allow faster reaction time.

*Than previous Dunlop technology.

HM6 Carbon: HM6 Carbon reduces racquet frequency and vibration by up to 10% for ultimate energy return and feel.

HM6 is inspired by one of the strongest, most efficient structures in nature, the honeycomb. Its complex mass of hexagonal cells creates an incredibly strong, lightweight structure that's up to 95% air to naturally absorb impacts while maintaining its shape.

Using a revolutionary new manufacturing process, Dunlop has taken high modulus carbon fibers and engineered them into a hexagonal structure. The HM6 carbon material is placed between layers of Aerogel enhanced carbon to create an incredibly stable construction.

HM6 carbon is so effective because a hexagon is made up of 6 equal sides. When this construction is applied to a racquet, it means the unwanted frequencies are absorbed and distributed evenly, giving enhanced racquet feel and minimal energy loss which equals maximum energy return.

Gecko-Tac: Provides up to 50% more grip and tack than previous Dunlop technology, giving greater control, feel and precision.

Gecko-Tac is inspired by the pads on the foot of one of the most highly evolved species, the gecko. The nanoscopic surface of the gecko's foot gives it the ability to stick upside down on any surface, in any condition.

Like the gecko's foot, Dunlop's incredible surface treatment technology provides superior levels of grip in any condition. The smooth tacky surface is also perforated which helps wick away excess moisture ensuring you never lose control. Gecko-Tac grips provide better control, precision and comfort, whatever your level of play.

    Comments about Dunlop Biomimetic 400:

I am a lifelong player with 40+ years of competition and playing behind me. I recently switched from a Babolet which I played with for a few years but which ultimately did not suit my continental grip style of play. I looked for a maneuverable, solid racket suitable for serve and volley, doubles and 4.5 singles play that was also easy on the arm. What I found was an outstanding racket that suits all my needs. It's head light, yet heavier than my previous racket so it feels more maneuverable even though heavier. It's great to rip a groudstroke, change your racket position at the last minute and hit some big serves. This is a terrific stick that is easy on the arm and easy to swing with plenty of punch. Great all around racket.
