O³ Technology: Prince has once again revolutionized the art of racquet design with the launch of the O³, a breakthrough in racquet engineering that allows you to hit your best shots more often. By replacing the traditional pin-sized string holes with giant O-Ports, a super aerodynamic frame has been created with a more responsive stringbed. This increases the sweet spot by 54%, creating a Sweet Zone, which means you hit your best shots more often. What's truly impressive is that Prince did it all without enlarging the racquet head, increasing it's length, or adding weight. So it's easy to maneuver and quicker through the air.

The new O³ engineered racquets are created through a one step fusion process that utilizes the strongest structure known to mman, the Arch, creating the frame's O-Ports. These O-Ports stabilize the racquet and provide total string freedom for a livelier response across the entire string bed. This eliminates the dead zone that traditional string holes create, giving players more consistency, greater stability and more confidence to hit their best shots more often. In addition, the O-Ports aerodynamic design provides a faster swing speed, enabling players to reach more balls and win more points, more often.

Comments about Prince O3 White Midplus:

I've played with this frame for several years, and resisted newer models from Prince and other makers because this frame is so dependable and suits my game well. Its a great racquet for groundstrokers but delivers solid performance at the net as well. Getting it at a closeout price was a bonus.

I wanted a heavier but more powerful racquet. It is just that. Switched from a 110 to 100 sq in frame without a problem.

Comments about Prince O3 White Midplus:

I'm a highschool tennis player in southern California and play at least a couple hours daily. I have had 3 of these rackets, all of the frames have broken solely due to play, no misuse was conducted. I play with a lot of spin and it does great with spin, volleys, and has a nice sweet spot. I would recommend trying different strings if you don't get any of these attributes, because this racket is entirely capable. The only negative in my experience is the frame, I play a John Isner style game and I would not recommend it to a player like me with a big serve and even bigger forehand unless you're recreational or a weekend player.

I have just started playing tennis again after several years and I feelmy Prince Original Graphite racquets could use an updating. Trying to find one that has a little more pop and good spin. Is this a good choice? I am not brand specific so i am open to other suggestions. thanks.

This is a good racket for court and doubles players at the 3.5-5.5 levels. It features extra pop and mobility without sacrificing control and placement.

            A:

The Prince O3 White should definitely provide a bit more pop than your Prince Original Graphite. The O3 White offers pretty good access to spin as well, so it might be a solid option for you. You might be interested in the HEAD YouTek Graphene Instinct Midplus (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/head-youtek-graphene-instinct-midplus.html). It offers pretty solid power and has some spin potential. Wilson also has a new racquet called the Steam 99S (http://www.holabirdsports.com/wilson-steam-99s.html) that offers pretty good power lots of spin potential. I would also encourage you to take advantage of our demo program (http://www.holabirdsports.com/demo-racquet-program) to actually test some of the racquets out on the court.

        • About Prince
Prince tennis racquets have always been revolutionary; in fact, they made the very first oversized racquet. Today, Prince racquets can be found in the hands of pros—like David Ferrer and Gael Monfils—and recreational players alike. Overall, Prince tennis racquets are known for increased ball control and stability and a significant reduction of frame vibration, making them perfect for any player type. But Prince doesn't just make tennis racquets. They also make fine tennis shoes, tennis apparel, grips, strings, squash racquets, and squash eyeguards.
