This racquet ensures that the ball is accelerated from the strings with great force at every stroke. The yoke has also been developed further along Power Bridge lines. The new trapezoid cross section of the yoke is even more torsion-resistant, thus providing more control for every stroke.
One of the most important factors that determine the power of a tennis racquet is the stability and stiffness of the frame because the more stable the frame is, the more kinetic energy can be returned to the ball. In recent years Völkl's engineers have achieved totally new dimensions of power by integrating DNX into the frame. The high-strength DNX material is based on a Carbon Nanotube Technology developed by Völkl Tennis and the Fraunhofer Technology Development Group (Fraunhofer TEG) and, with the same weight, is around 25 times stronger than conventional carbon fiber materials. Thanks to our many years of experience in using DNX Völkl has now successfully achieved the next step forward in developing Power Bridge. When constructing a racquet head, the design of the yoke - in other words the lowest section (the 6-o'clock position) - poses a difficult challenge. The German research department of Völkl Tennis has now focused intensively on this critical yoke area of the racquet. The result of this development work is Power Bridge - an innovative construction which considerably increases the stability of this critical area. This makes the entire racquet more powerful and dynamic. This effect is achieved on the one hand by integrating the high-strength DNX material and on the other hand by increasing the specific material density in the yoke.

Power Bridge Technology: The secret of Power Bridge lies in two components. The first is the tried-and-tested DNX technology, which is now being used in the bridge of the racquet head for the first time. Second, the designers at Völkl Tennis have succeeded in reducing the cross-section of the bridge without losing stability. This enormously solid composite material which optimizes the heart of the racquet, thereby investing the entire racquet with more power.
DNX Technology: DNX is a new unique material structure featuring high-strength micro tube construction that is 25 times stronger than regular carbon fibers. DNX is an entirely new material class whose properties represent the fourth dimension of carbon. DNX has strength characteristics that have never been reached before, a true break-through in material development.
Power Arm: The unique dynamic properties found in the Power Arm produce maximum power for every player. Designed to be free moving upon impact, the Power Arm is drawn back during ball to stringbed contact. As the ball sinks deeper into the stringbed, the Power Arm becomes energized. Then the Power Arm reacts, returning the stored energy to the ball for maximum power.
Big Grommets™: Big Grommets™ allow for greater string movement for an increased sweetspot. The result is more power, even on off center hits. Big Grommet™ technology supports the revolutionary Catapult Effect perfectly working harmoniously together for total playing enjoyment.
Sensor Handle™ System: The combination of two materials, TechnoGel™ and EVA in the shaft construction ensures optimum comfort because of their excellent vibration and shock absorbency. In the Sensor Tour handle system great store is set by the more direct playing sensation as the result of a thinner layer of EVA.
