Q:
What tension should the juice be strung at with Lux Alu Power 16? Besides nxt, any other good power/spin string recommendations with the juice 100? Thank you!Asked on 5/22/2013 by Jared from Bergen Cnty, NJ1 answer
A:
Tension and string choices are really based on personal preference, so it's difficult to make a surefire recommendation. Generally when a player is stringing with a stiff string like Luxilon ALU Power, I recommend lowering your normal tension by 2-3 pounds. This helps reduce the overall stiffness of the stringbed which in turn can help prevent arm pain or discomfort. If you plan to string with a very soft string, like Wilson NXT, you can safely string at your normal tension without worrying about your arm. If you prefer softer, lively strings like NXT, you might also be interested in Tecnifibre NRG (http://www.holabirdsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=nrg) or Gamma Live Wire XP (http://www.holabirdsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=live+wire+xp). If you prefer stiffer, durable strings like Luxilon ALU Power, you might also be interested in Babolat RPM Blast (http://www.holabirdsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=babolat+rpm+blast) or Solinco Tour Bite (http://www.holabirdsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=solinco+tour+bite).Answered on 5/23/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
