Isometric: The Isometric Square Head Shape reduces the inert space found in a conventional round frame resulting in superior maneuverability and a 10% bigger sweetspot when compared to an ordinary racquet. The sweetspot is the area of a racquet where the longest main and longest cross strings meet in the stringbed. In an ordinary round frame racquet, the sweetspot is where the 8 main and 11 cross strings meet. In the Yonex Isometric Square Head racquet, 10 main and 13 cross strings meet. With more strings of equal length and a larger effective hitting area in the stringbed, the Isometric Square Head Shape provides consistently accurate shots, more power, control and more effective off-center hits.

IPS: Integrated Power Weight System positions extra weight at the sides of the frame to give the face a greater moment of inertia.

Oval Pressed Shaft: OPS technology builds into the throat, the right amount of flex for an extended dwell time for easier spin and directional control.

Feel Control Grommet: With an 18% deeper channel at the top and sides of the frame, making it thicker and more cushioned, RDiS Series racquets guarantee a comfortable feel from the strings at ball impact.

Super Cushion Grip: Minimizes vibration. The grip's cushioning performance helps protect the wrist, forearm and elbow against shock induced injuries.

Shockless Grommets: Shockless Grommets at the side and bottom of the frame to minimize the muscle fatigue of long play. In addition to their ability to protect the wrist, forearm and elbow by absorbing shock, Shockless Grommets provide a soft feel at impact.

Impact Speed: A snap-back action which stores energy on impact, then releases it with tremendous power and speed. The new material, Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube, was adopted in these racquets to lead the ball to accelerate faster on each serve or return shot.

Toughlex: Different from conventional synthetic resin which stacks carbon fiber against each other, Toughlex has more flexibility and durability. Inserting the Toughlex into the whole racquet frame creates a more powerful shot. As a result, players can make a stronger spin shot with longer ball dwell time.

Aero-Box Vari Frame: Aero-Box Vari Frame technology achieves a quick swing-through, generating high-velocity hits loaded with spin. With a squared upper and lower frame section and additional I.P.S. weighting at the side of the frame, it provides 15% more face stability, 10% less air resistance and maximum swing power.

Stability Torsion Control: RDiS Series racquets feature a 17% wider shaft base, which increases stiffness and the ability to resist twisting at impact. In addition, the cross section at the top of the frame provides advanced face stability for a solid feel at impact with more control.

Flex/Torsion Control Shaft: The front of the shaft is 14% wider than a conventional racquet's. The wider Yonex shaft increases the racquet's ability to provide high repulsion power, maneuverability and generates a solid and stable shot at full swing.

Comments about Yonex RDiS 200 (98):

I have been away from the game for a few years, so I'm trying to get back into the swing (NPI)!!! So I got this rig with very tight stringing and some vibration dampeners and it feels really good to hit the ball again. Feels very similar to my old Wilson Pro Staff that served me well for many years... I couldn't be happier...
