    3rd pair now on order

    By purple lady

    from Ajijic, MX

I have pronation problems with inside heals wearing down subsequently causing knee problems. Therefore I always go with New Balance with stability features. This shoe lasts longer on the inside than any other NB style I have tried. I wear them all day every day and do a lot of walking.

have worn this model shoe for 10 years. This time they were too small & narrow. What's up with that??

          Service and delivery comments:

return is a bit of a hassle. have to email for an authorization, wrap the box and go to a UPS or post office.

My daughter who is 5'3"/ 115 lbs and plays approximately 10 hours per week only got about six weeks of wear out of these shoes before they developed holes in the soles! When I contacted New Balance I found they had changed their warranty replacement policy to ONE PAIR PER CUSTOMER not once per pair like Adidas or Nike. We're switching back to Prince. The Ndurance warranty is a joke.

I've worn NB tennis shoes for years. This model that I just got had a mesh tongue and upper, rather than an all leather top these have always had. Sure glad I don't play on red clay! Wearing these on a dusty hike or working in the garden will surely result in dirty socks too. I was disappointed by this change. The shoes are still good, though.

                A:

The exact difference between widths varies from brand to brand and even shoe to shoe. In general, the width difference is usually somewhere between 2 millimeters and 3/16 of an inch.

            • About New Balance
New Balance has grown to be one of the largest manufacturers of running shoes and they've done this without expensive advertising campaigns. New Balance knows that there is no better press than positive word-of-mouth. New Balance began as an arch support company, but in 1960, they designed the first running shoe with a ripple sole and the first running shoe that came in varying widths. It didn't take long before New Balance running shoes were used by college track teams all over the country. Today, New Balance makes their shoes available in more widths than almost any other company and that means that there's a New Balance that can fit nearly any foot. Although they started by making running shoes, New Balance tennis shoes are an industry staple and are loved by recreational and serious players. New Balance also makes fine running and tennis apparel, as well as a variety of socks and other sporting accessories.
