Comments about Babolat Elasto Cross:
They work great. I've used the cheeper string savers & they would wear through and the strings would still break fairly quickly. The Babolat savers hold up better. The square edges do probably add a bit more spin. The only draw back is that now the string stay in my racket long enough for it to loose tension before breaking. The last couple of weeks of use are only sutable for practice/non competitive match play.
