I didn't even own a racquet until my late 30s. I'm a 62 year old weekend warrior with a 6" swing and can't hit very hard because of operations on my neck, back and knee and have a torn bicep muscle on my serving arm. So I tried this monster string on my collecter's item Prince Triple Threat Viper, the most powerful racquet of that outdated line, based on a suggestion from the pro at my club. I tried all types of other strings but this stuff turned my wussy kid's racquet into a beast and "Blasts" the living heck out of the other super seniors. I now actually have topspin! I couldn't be happier. With other strings all I all I could do was lob because the ball came off my racquet so slow my doubles opponents would be eating a sandwich while waiting for my return to cross the net. Now they back-up to no-man's land and gulp in disbelief. This string seems perfect for the weekend warrior 4.0 AARP card player who wants to feel what it's like to hit the ball like the big boys, even if it's just every once in while, And yes, it can be controlled. I highly recommend the RPM Blast and give it 5 tennis balls, move over Rafa...
