Hi,
I would like to buy this for my 15yr old daughter. She plays at regional and national level. Can it be used as main string? and what is recommended tension(56lb?)?

Gosen Polylon is a durable, polyester string and is definitely good for use as the main string in a blend. It is a stiff string, so you might want to use a fairly soft string on the crosses. You can really string this at any tension you want; however, because the string is so stiff, we recommend reducing the tension by 5-10% in comparison with her normal tension.Answered on 4/16/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
