Solinco Tour Bite works well as part of a hybrid or on its own. If you choose to use it in a hybrid, this string will work best in the mains because of its exceptional durability. The main strings usually take most of the beating and break more often. You can then put a softer, more playable string in the crosses for better feel. If you are a chronic string breaker, this string is also fine as a standalone string but—like most polyester strings—it is a fairly stiff string.Answered on 2/17/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
