Polyesters. Alien Black Diamond string is designed with the elite player in mind. This string is engineered to provide the optimum blend of power, feel, control, and durability. Thanks to a proprietary extrusion process utilizing blended polymers the recoil properties are maximized while maintaining softness for enhanced control and feel.
Other strings can lose their "memory" after being under tension for a period of time creating a "dead" feel and loss of power. While no string will last forever, Alien brand strings undergo a heat and stretching process that extends the life of our strings and provide superior tension stability. This Alien string has been engineered to produce very specific playing characteristics that only work with a string diameter of 1.30 mm.
