Ashaway Crossfire 17 contains: Braided Aramid 17G and Ashaway Synthetic Gut 16G.
Aramid Hybrids. This hybrid string is recommended for power players who are willing to sacrifice some durability for better playability and ball control. Recommended for chronic string breakers only when durability is not their primary concern.
Braided Aramid: (Mains) 100% Braided and bonded Aramid is used for it's durability and resistance to notching. Also, the thin-gauge Aramid gives better feel to the ball and increases top spin and bite on the ball.
Ashaway Synthetic Gut: (Crosses) Used to complement the thin-gauge Aramid by increasing the overall playability of this hybrid construction. Combines excellent playability, feel and control with longer string life.
