Comments about Babolat Xcel 17 French Open:
I have 3 Babolat Overdrive 105 Racquets and I restring them about every 6 weeks. The Babolat Excel 17 strings are great for control and over spin.

Q:
I have a total shoulder replacement. what string should I use in my babolat racquet the xcel 17 or 16?Asked on 9/18/2012 by ashes from pennsylvania2 answers
A:
Babolat Xcel is a good, soft string that will be easy on the arm in either gauge. There is not a large difference between most 16 and 17 gauge string (usually about a .05mm difference in thickness). If you are worried about breaking strings, go for the 16 gauge as that will provide slightly more durability.Answered on 9/19/2012 by Ryan from Holabird SportsA:
When dealing with bone structural problems, you should always start off light. If you feel that you are ready to take it up another level, try it and see how it works out.Answered on 9/18/2012 by Community Answer from None
