Will this be discontinued and replaced by the TNT2? What is the difference between TNT and TNT2?

  Yes, original TNT has been phased out and is being replaced by TNT2. The biggest difference is the materials used in the core and outer wraps. TNT2 uses a material called Elastalon for greater shock absorption and a livelier feel.

  Gamma TNT is a fairly soft string that will absorb lots of vibration that might otherwise affect your arm, making it a pretty good string for anyone with arm trouble. TNT does have a solid core (as opposed to a multifilament core) so it is not Gamma's softest string. Depending upon how sensitive your elbow is you may ultimately want to step up to something even softer like Gamma TNT2 RX (http://www.holabirdsports.com/gamma-tnt2-rx-19.html) or Gamma Livewire (http://www.holabirdsports.com/gamma-live-wire-18.html).
