I string my own raquets, otherwise I would use the 16 gauge version of Head Rip Control. The 16 gauge holds tension and lasts ten times longer, but does not have quite the snap or feel of the 17 gauge version. As advertised, this is as close to gut as a synthetic string gets. Good power with excellent placement and precision, its my #1 favorite string.

this string has excellent feel, touch, control and power. would be perfect if it lasted a little longer. The 16 gauge version lasts 5 times longer than the 17 gauge, but you give up some snap and touch with the heavier gauge. Both hold tension very well. Best string I have ever used.
