I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with Wilson NXT. This is a string that I regularly recommend to folks looking for a soft synthetic string with plenty of feel and playability. The biggest downside is that NXT—like any soft, multifilament—can break fairly quickly if you hit with lots of pace and spin. NXT Black is the same string except that it is black instead of a natural color. High performance multifilament strings are not usually colored because the dye can affect the string's playability, but so far I haven't heard anything negative about the NXT Black.Answered on 10/8/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
