Comments about adidas Rod Laver Men White/Navy:
These are the only type of tennis shoe I can wear. The inside is lined with leather rather than cloth and therefore lasts much longer. Also, the fit is almost perfect from the first time worn through the last time worn. Plus they are quite durable and last several years of wear and tear. Bottomline, I love them.

Comments about adidas Rod Laver Men White/Navy:
The blue Laver is not the same as the green Laver. The former is for casual wear, the latter has the superior shock absorption and arch support that I purchased it for. The green is for playing tennis and someone with fallen arches.

Comments about adidas Rod Laver Men White/Navy:
I have used these for casual wear as well as clay court tennis. Although for hard court surface these do not stand up. I wore through a new pair in three matches!

Q:
is this a good competitive tennis shoe?Asked on 11/16/2012 by tharr2 answers
A:
The reviews state this is an average shoe.Answered on 11/16/2012 by Community Answer from NoneA:
The adidas Rod Laver tennis shoe is really more of a classic shoe. It may be fine for casual play, but it does not have the same cutting-edge features as today's performance tennis shoes. Players engaging in more intense play might want to look for a more modern shoe.Answered on 11/19/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
