My first pair of K Swiss and i'm seriously impressed. Most comfortable out-of-the-box sneakers i can remember. Wish i had tried them years ago. I've only used them on a hard court thus far but very happy with grip, weight, and comfort.

High placement of top inner eyelets results in stiff material backing jamming into ankles when pivoting, running, etc. Very annoying/distracting. I haven't returned them yet...hoping they will break in better. Prefer the old version of Ultrascendor...which is what I thought I was buying. These seem very bare bones...probably to reduce weight...they are light.

If you have any lingering perceptions about K-Swiss tennis shoes being heavy, stiff, or uncomfortable, throw them out! This model is light, soft (yet supportive),and required zero break in time. They felt like old friends from the get go. Solidly constructed and comfortable. If they prove out to be durable as well (too new to tell), they'll be my new standard.
