Comments about New Balance 804 W Lady:

I went through two pairs of these shoes before switching to another brand. I let the other brand wear out, developed foot problems, and sprained my ankle, so I went back to these. I wish these came in 11.5 women's, but at least they have narrow width. I originally purchased these because of the great reviews regarding stability. I used to always have to wear a bulky inconvenient ankle brace while playing until I got these shoes. The built-in Rollbar is made to prevent pronation and supenation (ankle roll-over). I never twisted my ankle once while wearing them, but I did in the competitor's shoes. So, I bought these again. It always says the suggested retail price is around $120, but I always purchase them for around $65 online. This is my third pair. The basic white and blue matches most of my tennis apparel, too, but I personally don't care about appearance on the court too much, anyway.

            Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was very quick. My shoes arrived in time for my birthday (as they were a present to myself). They arrived in perfect, brand new in box condition. I ordered a sweat band in order to get free shipping, and they threw that into the shoe box with the shoes instead of wasting extra money and packaging, which is an excellent idea that I wish all online retailers did.

Comments about New Balance 804 W Lady:

This is a great shoe-- probably my 10th pair! They are super supportive-and with insoles offer good medial support for my bad pronation--and last as long or longer than other shoes I have tried.

              • About New Balance
New Balance has grown to be one of the largest manufacturers of running shoes and they've done this without expensive advertising campaigns. New Balance knows that there is no better press than positive word-of-mouth. New Balance began as an arch support company, but in 1960, they designed the first running shoe with a ripple sole and the first running shoe that came in varying widths. It didn't take long before New Balance running shoes were used by college track teams all over the country. Today, New Balance makes their shoes available in more widths than almost any other company and that means that there's a New Balance that can fit nearly any foot. Although they started by making running shoes, New Balance tennis shoes are an industry staple and are loved by recreational and serious players. New Balance also makes fine running and tennis apparel, as well as a variety of socks and other sporting accessories.
