Comments about Prince Rebel 2 LS Men Black/Yellow:
I've played with the Prince EXO3 Rebel for a bit now and I jumped at the chance to try out the matching shoe. I wore the previous version of the shoe as well and found them comfortable and well-performing.
The Prince Rebel 2 LS is not a lightweight tennis shoe by any means and it boasts plenty of cushioning in the heel and forefoot. It absorbs hard court pounding pretty well thanks to a shock absorbing insert in the heel. It does have a nice, low-to-the-ground design that feels more balanced and responsive than other shoes that sit higher off the ground. The odor/fungus resistant insole is a nice bonus—let's be honest tennis shoes can get pretty funky after a week or two of summer play!
Cosmetically the shoe looks sharp. The slick color scheme and design features definitely look cool and it's a nice touch that one of the colorways matches the racquet. Including two pairs of laces is a cool idea for anyone that likes to customize their footwear.
The Rebel 2 LS fit well and hugged my foot. The heel collar has a grippy fabric that's designed to keep your heel from slipping, but I did get a blister on my right heel the first time I wore them on court. I haven't had any issues since then so I may not have given them sufficient break-in time. I would encourage you to wear these off court for a few hours just to make sure they're well-broken in to avoid any issues with blisters.
The prince Rebel 2 LS is an impressive shoe. It has a stylish, aggressive cosmetic and fits well after a brief, off-court break in period. It does offer plenty of cushioning and has a low-slung design that that feels responsive and stable.
