I'm not sure what kind of use these racquets were exposed to, but I bought two and to my eye they appeared to be brand new. My game is not so good that I can accurately judge specifically what the racquet is or isn't doing verse my own lack of skill, but this one feels great, very low vibration and is playing very well. I tend to have a long, fast swing and like to hit with a lot of power and spin.

As always, with Holabird, the price was great and the product arrived quickly and in great shape. The racket and I bonded immediately; it seemed to possess all of the qualities as advertised. I felt totally comfortable with it the first time I used it.

I am 99% sure the racquet I received was never used. It is strung with Wilson Synthetic Gut 16, probably at about 56 or 57lbs. The plastic wrap was still over the grip. The frame has absolutely no scratches and the strings show no signs of wear (they don't even have yellow fuzz from the balls). Currently, this is the best bargain in the internet for this specific racquet.

I was pleasantly surprised that the racquet (advertised as almost new) appeared to be never used. The plastic was still covering the grip. No scratches at all. The only thing to make it "almost new" rather than "new" was that it had been strung with basic Wison synthetic gut.
