Works with Nexus 4, but not ideal

I bought it for Nexus 4, it fits, but it covers sides slightly, no big deal, but I would buy a wider one if I knew.

How is the phone inserted into the armband? I see a blue tab on the left which looks like a velcro tab. What is this for?

  The Tune Belt Android Sport Armband AB86 load the phone from the top of the case. The blue tab is arm-band size and cord management.

  The top of the pocket is open so the phone can slide right in from the top. This also leaves the top of the phone accessible for plugging in headphones if desired. The tab on the left is designed for cord management. If you wish, you can use it to secure excess cordage from headphones.

How big is the armband. I lift weights and have about an 18" arm and want to ensure the strap will fit.
