Comments about Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 BLX:
The best Wilson racquet I've ever owned. Such a well made racquet, it felt like I was holding something Federer would play with. I won't be playing with another racquet for many years to come.
Service and delivery comments:
The customer service was some of the best I've ever had. I called after ordering to ensure I would receive it before Christmas and the lovely lady that answered my call ensured me that it would be strung and mailed within the day. She even included a hand written Christmas card. It was very thoughtful and I will be bringing my business back to Holabird for all my tennis needs.

Q:
My present racquet is a Wilson Pro Staff 6.1 Stretch 95. My racquets are old. I have a tennis elbow problem which is now better. What racquet would you recommend for an update? What string? I do prefer the longer frame. To simplify which Wilson or Babolat would you recommend? I am a long time Holabird customer. What is your current demo policy? Thanks for your help. From a tennis old-timer.Asked on 4/8/2013 by Old Timer from PA1 answer
A:
Based solely on the specifications of the Pro Staff 6.1 Stretch, the Babolat Pure Storm Plus GT might actually be very close (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/babolat-pure-storm-tour-plus-gt-2011.html). The length, stiffness, weight, and balance point, and headsize are all either the same or very close to your current racquet. The Pure Storm Plus GT is also fairly flexible so it shouldn't be too hard on your arm. However, it does sound like you might be looking to transition into a lighter, more powerful frame, in which case the Babolat Pure Drive Plus GT (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/babolat-pure-drive-plus-gt-2012.html), Pure Drive Roddick Plus GT (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/babolat-pure-drive-roddick-plus-gt-2012.html), or the Wilson Blade 104 (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/wilson-blade-104.html) might all be good choices. Since you have had arm issues in the past, I would strongly recommend that you string with a soft, multifilament string that will absorb plenty of shock. Gamma Live Wire XP, Wilson NXT, and Babolat Xcel are all good choices. Our mail demo program (http://www.holabirdsports.com/demo-racquet-program) allows you to demo up to 3 racquets at a time for 10 days. Aside from shipping charges it is completely free and I would definitely encourage you to take advantage of it during your racquet search.Answered on 4/9/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
Q:
1. how to choose between this one and the Wilson BLX Juice 96
2. Do you have stores in Montreal Canada?Asked on 7/11/2012 by Buddy from Montreal CA2 answers
A:
The Wilson BLX Juice 96 2 racquet is designed to enhance your power and spin abilities if you are an all-court player or an aggressive baseline player. The racquet is .4 ounces heavier, and its head is one inch wider. The BLX Juice 96 2 has a power level description as low and medium, where as, the Wilson BLX 95 has a power description as low. Base your decision on the type of player you feel you are on the court.
Holabirdsports only has one store in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States.Answered on 7/11/2012 by Community Answer from NoneA:
The Juice Pro and the Pro Staff Six.One 95 are both targeted towards fairly advanced players, but each is really designed for a separate niche. The Six.One 95 has a much thinner beam and will offer a more precision-oriented experience. The Juice Pro is slightly heavier and stiffer and will provide more power. Ultimately, the best course of action would be to try and demo both to see which one you like best. We do not have any stores in Montreal. Although we ship all over the US and Canada, our only store location is in Baltimore, Maryland.Answered on 7/16/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
