I jog at the gym about 40 minutes 5 days a week. I've been buying the ASICS GT-2000 trail running series after going to physical therapy for falling arches. I wear the shoes with orthotics and they've traditionally been extremely comfortable--like a hug for your feet! There's something weird with this pair, though--they make my feet fall asleep after jogging for about 20 minutes. Not sure why, but I'm going to try to swap them for a different pair that doesn't do the same thing! I'm assuming it's something with the fit of the shoe to my foot. Too small, maybe?

I have been wearing the 1100 series for over 5 years now. I run 30-35 miles per week. I have tried other (more expensive Asics) but always come back to these. I have a relatively high arch but I found if I have too much cushioning I get injured. These shoes are are not "cushy" and that's what I like about them. They are just a good stable shoe. For reference I wear a 9 1/2 size shoe but order 10 1/2 size running shoes so I have plenty of room. They are not great for running in wet/snowy conditions but they work (and now I live in FL!). Great value.
