Q:
I am a supinator. Will this shoe work for me for hiking, or are there better options. In particular, I like Salomons, so a shoe in that brand would be ideal.Asked on 3/2/2013 by Diana from Syracuse2 answers
A:
Yes, these hiking shoes will fit your purpose well. The fact that you have a tendency toward supination will not matter since the description says that these shoes will give you an "exceptional range of motion on rocky and uneven terrain".Answered on 3/3/2013 by Community Answer from NoneA:
It's always tough to make a recommendation without seeing your foot in person. For supinators, often the best solution is a neutral shoe that does not have any medial support features. Medial support features will tend to push a neutral or supinating foot further towards the outside, risking injury. The Salomon Synapse is a neutral shoe, so based on the information provided, it should work for you. If you decide to order them, just be sure to try them out on an indoor, carpeted surface to make sure the fit and feel is good before taking them out on a hike.Answered on 3/4/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
