Comments about NEW BALANCE WC 1005 WS LADY:
As a tennis player who drags my foot a lot when I serve, I blew through two pairs of these within two months because they were not very reinforced in the toes. I also have very high arches and weak ankles, and they gave great support in those places and were very comfortable, they just didn't offer much resistance to the dragging method.

Q:
Are these tennis shoes for players who tend to pronate or supinate?Asked on 6/9/2012 by Margie from Cape Cod, MA2 answers
A:
While the shoe offers extra shock absorption support, there is no extra support for supination or pronation.Answered on 6/9/2012 by Community Answer from NoneA:
Most tennis shoes don't make an accommodation for pronation or supination. Since tennis requires players to spend lots of time on the balls of their feet, the foot doesn't go through the gait cycle like a runner's foot, resulting in significantly less pronation or supination. That being said, all tennis shoes offer good stability because of the quick lateral movements that are required.Answered on 6/11/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
