Comments about New Balance 1540 WP Lady:
I have a nerve injury at L5-S1 in my back which affects my entire right leg and foot. I wear my shoes with orthotics to counterbalance the ill effects of the nerve damage. My husband, an orthopedic chiropractor, recommends these shoes to his patients who have foot problems. We strongly recommend them. I learned about your company from the guy who makes my orthotics -- he is the best of the best, so he knows about shoes.

Comments about New Balance 1540 WP Lady:
I had planned to use the shoes for running. Tried them on my treadmill and they are definitely not good for Morton's Neuroma. The previous style that this one replaced (the 1123s) are the only shoes I could wear that did not bother my neuroma. With the 1540, both of my feet started feeling numb around the ball of the foot and toes by the time I had run 1 mile. Hopefully the next model will work like the 1123's.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was prompt and product was in good condition. Return went well. Would like to see free shipping on returns. If I have a shoe model that I know definitely works for me, I don't have to worry about returning it. Since the 1123's have been discontinued, I'm now in a trial and error phase for finding a shoe I can wear that doesn't aggravate my Morton's Neuroma...which can become expensive without free returns.

Comments about New Balance 1540 WP Lady:
I wear these shoes everyday at work..I am on my feet all day and my legs do not hurt when I wear these shoes..I had read the reviews about them being smaller than the 1123....hmmmmm....I thought no way would I wear an 8..(I wore a 7.5 in the other shoe.)..maybe I should have ordred the 8.. I'm wearing the 7.5 anyways but they feel tighter than they should.. I have wore these shoes for several years..when they start to wear-out (appx on year down the road)..my legs start to hurt..
