While continuing to address the needs of the neutral flat foot runner, the Brooks Dyad 6 features environmentally friendly BioMoGo for supreme cushioning with dual arch pods for a supportive base.
The Dyad 6 is a tale of two fittings: Neutral flat footers and those requiring extra room - including orthotics devotees. How does this pioneering shoe meet their needs? With an intuitive dual pod construction that provides passive underfoot support and a generous upper with an unmatched medial arch wrap for a secure fit. Done and done.
Brooks' Linear Platform and dual arch pods provide a neutral, supportive base for the biomechanically efficient flat footer.
Upper: Brooks' Ultimate Sockliner provides ultimate comfort. Air mesh with micro fiber overlays, synthetic overlays and an internal support saddle provide breathable support. Moisture managing Element linings feature superior microfiber construction to provide weather protection in a light, supple, quiet fabric that doesn't sacrifice breathability, durability or comfort.
Midsole: Full Length BioMoGo provides a soft cushy first feel that lasts-without sacrificing stability. Brooks took the long lasting cushioning of MoGo and made it environmentally friendly. They accomplished this by adding a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound that encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away at it once it hits the landfill without sacrificing the long lasting durability you have come to expect from MoGo. Forefoot HydroFlow® and HydroFlow® ST in the heel enhances midsole cushioning - attenuating shock with industry leading dampening and comfort. S-257 Cushsole is a durable, energy efficient midsole compound utilized as an insole board for even more cushioning and flexibility. Dual Stability Arch Pods consist of two independent pods engineered into the midsole, positioned medially and laterally adding stability at mid-stance for the flat footed but biomechanically efficient runner. The accommodation of orthotics is achieved through a wider base, Brooks' Linear Platform, and Dual Arch Pods provide an outstanding foundation for orthotics, letting them work the way the doctor intended. Engineered Cush-Pod Configuration means the midsole and outsole components are engineered to set the foot up in an efficient, balanced position from heel strike to toe off, offering maximum cushioning and flexibility.
Outsole: HPR Plus is a high-density carbon rubber for increased traction and outsole durability. Blown rubber in the forefoot provides lightweight cushioning with optimal traction properties.
Available in widths B (Medium) and D (Wide).
