Upper: Support frame heel locking technology provides a secure, stable fit. Sauc-Fit lacing system locks the midfoot onto the platform for greater stability and comfort. HydraMax™ collar lining provides moisture wicking and a plush hand feel.

Midsole: Removable, perforated insole. PowerGrid™ gives superior cushioning and responsiveness. HRC+ Strobel Board adds an additional 1.5mm of EVA that enhances the step-in comfort for an exceptionally plush ride. SRC Impact Zone provides shock reduction and sets up the foot for a smooth transition.

Outsole: iBR+ blown rubber compound is lighter, more responsive, and has enhanced cushioning and durability. XT-900™ carbon rubber gives exceptional traction.

How does this model compare to the support of the Progrid Omni 11? I have Plantar Fasciitis and need support.

  It seems that you are not alone in your problem. A reviewer with Plantar Fasciitis reviewed this product, and gave the shoes high praise. It seems that suggestions also include switching between two shoes for your condition. Maybe the answer is not to compare the two, but trade off between them.

  Both the Omni 11 and the Hurricane 15 offer lots of support for lower arches and moderate to severe overpronation. The Omni 11 should offer just a bit more support than the Hurricane 15. Plantar fasciitis is a medical condition and we would encourage you to consult with a podiatrist or physician. A qualified medical professional will be able to work with you to offer advice and come up with a treatment plan.
