I have a slightly wide foot, but typically don't need to shop for wide widths. This shoe definitely runs a little narrow in the forefoot, which caused immediate discomfort. The instep is also pretty shallow, so there was a ton of squeezing in the front of the foot, to the point that I think my toes would've gone numb after awhile. The heel, despite the memory foam, still slipped and was too wide. I even tried lock-lacing, with no better result (plus, the laces are not nearly long enough for lock-lacing). This is a good looking shoe, and may be great for someone with a slightly narrower foot, though the heel may still be a concern.
Thank you, Holabird, for making the return process so simple. It was wonderful to be able to call customer service on a Saturday morning and have an actual person answer after just two rings. I had my RA number and return information in 1 minute, 49 seconds! That has to be a customer service record. :) Thank you!

Ordered a 9.5 based on last Asics I purchased. Too small. Returned with exchange information but product was only returned. Customer service called after I replied to the return item notice and apologized. Took care of exchange. All good from that point on.
