(Personal Heel Fit) memory foam supplies 2 layers of memory foam in the collar and mold to the athlete’s heel, creating a personalized fit. An exoskeleton Heel Clutching System provides improved support and improves an improved heel fitting environment. Padded air mesh tongue provides increased breathability and comfort.
Midsole: Solyte® Midsole Material is a lighter weight midsole compound that ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability. Trusstic System® reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. SpEVA® Midsole Material improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. Solyte™ 55 last construction provides super lightweight lasting with medium density for a cushioned, but more stable ride. Removable molded EVA insole provides additional cushioning.
Upper: Non-marking rubber outsole with variable traction pattern and forefoot pivot point.AHAR® High Abrasion Rubber placed in key areas of the outsole for increased durability. Impact Guide System (IGS®) employs linked componentry to enhance the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe off.

I have found this brand of shoe great for a very narrow (AAA) foot. If they aren't quite narrow enough I can remove the footbed and add additional innersole to fill in for the depth but the width itself is perfect. It is also lightweight and comfortable. ASICS has become my brand of preference for their consistency in size.

I play tennis on hard courts three to four times a week. The shoes lasted for several seasons and then I bought the exact same pair again. Usually I wear a hole in the toe of my tennis shoes within three or four months, but these held up for a lot longer.

Finding the correct tennis shoes for non-injured tennis player is a challenge to begin with. Finding the correct tennis shoes for the athlete with metal plates and screws in BOTH ankles is "mission impossible"
I almost gave up and than I saw the The ASICS GEL-Resolution® 4
After many researches, reading the reviews and having bad luck with trying out other brands of tennis shoes on hard court (5 pairs of Nike's, 4 pairs of New Balance) I have ordered the shoes on line without trying on , what the heck I thought I have nothing to loose. Both of my ankles are sore anyway from other shoes rubbing it after being on tennis court for 45 min, feet being numb,ankles being sore, etc, etc I had to stop playing tennis because of feet and ankle issues.
The ASICS GEL-Resolution® 4 . surprised me beyond my imagination, no kidding. Wearing them for the past two weeks allowed me to play tennis for 3, 4 and yesterday 5 hours of tennis without me even thinking about my ankles or feet!!!!! Talking about stepping up to the game!
I have ordered 2 pairs already, regardless on how long they will last my next pair of tennis shoes will be Asics!
