The outsole on this version of the Power Cushion 308 is really designed specifically for use on clay courts. It may perform OK on hard courts, but we would recommend getting one of the Yonex shoes designed with an all court outsole (http://www.holabirdsports.com/men-s-shoes/tennis-shoes/shopby/hb_manufacturer-yonex/hb_tennis_shoe_court_surface-all_court.html) if you will be playing on clay courts and hard courts using the same shoe.Answered on 3/25/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
