MICRO CORE: For the first time anywhere, Yonex introduces a technological breakthrough in tennis racquet performance. MICRO CORE is an evolutionary new higher density foaming urethane which adjusts racquet weight and provides both face stability and unbelievable power. MICRO CORE is injected directly into the top and wider areas of the frame to produce greater vibration absorption and improved feel, meeting the demands of today's top players.
X-Fullerene: This revolutionary X-Fullerene cross linking pattern bends carbon fibers at the top of the frame. Our proprietary Nanoscience technology prevents twisting of the racquet face from hard impact shots ensuring consistent powerful returns.
3D Vector Shaft: Depeper grooves in the 3D Vector Shaft improves racquet stiffness for more face stability and more powerful spin. The 3D Vector Shaft reduces twisting of the frame by 20%, compared to convetional racquets, delivering precise control at impact with a greater bite and more disruptive system.
Oval Pressed Shaft (O.P.S.): O.P.S. (Oval Pressed Shaft) introduces rounder shaft corners providing an ideal level of flex, whilst a wider shaft face increases stability. This results in extended ball dwell time for optimized ball spin and directional control.
Integrated Power Weight System (I.P.S.): Integrated Power Weight System positions extra weight at the sides of the frame to give the face a greater moment of inertia.
Isometric™: Yonex's ISOMETRIC head shape allows you to enjoy the larger sweet spot of a 95 square inch racquet while playing with a more nimble racquet. Only the VCORE Tour provides a 7% larger sweet spot at the top of the frame. Yonex increased the number of main and cross string that meet to produce a more effective hitting area allowing you to make more match winning shots.

Comments about Yonex VCORE Tour 97:
Former college player, still like heavier frames. This frame provides just enough extra pop on the ball without losing any feel. Would only recommend for 4.5 + level since it takes a good full swing to use. Great players racquet!
