As a former energy gel/chew/jelly bean enthusiast, it was difficult for me to expand beyond the traditional fuels for distance running. However, they all made me very nauseous and put my hypoglycemia in overdrive when I used them. I heard about UCAN from Ben Greenfield and Vinnie Tortorich about 3 years ago on their podcasts so thought I'd give UCAN a try. It changed everything! I wish I had hear about it sooner. I have zero blood sugar or stomach issues. I stick to the ones without monk fruit extract since it doesn't seem to settle well with me but Cran-Razz is so good anyway.
