    Design flaw

I purchased this in January but didn't use for a few months since I'm used to using apps on my phone for running. When I did finally use it, the band had to be taken apart to upload the information to my computer. After taking apart two times, the band would not stay together on my wrist for runs (two times!) and I sent to the company to be fixed. They sent me a bill for $60 for the repair. The warranty of 1 year on the website seems to have a lot of loopholes. The repair said the watch needed to be fixed for a water test. I didn't run in water nor did I need a water test. I needed a new band. Buy a watch that doesn't need the band taken apart to get the results. This is a crazy design which is time consuming and obviously doesn't work well. I can't speak to the results of the actual watch because I couldn't get the band to stay on.

Too difficult to program and use

I was really excited to get this because it looked simple to use but it turned out to be so difficult and confusing to program that I got frustrated and back it goes! I can't even tell you how it performs because I couldn't even figure out how to run with it. After 2 hours trying to get it to where I could even under stand what I was looking at I gave up.The quick start guide that comes with the watch is no help and the online manual sent my head spinning even more. It seems to be made very well and I liked how easy it was to plug into the computer but I found that there was a glare on the screen when trying to read. The color was pretty too. I ended up ordering the forerunner 10 which is on its way. I hope that I have more luck. I would rather pay the extra $40 bucks to save the frustration. Also, I am not a moron and have a masters degree.
