      • A new contoured sockliner better matches the natural shape of the foot for a better fit.
      • Bottom layer of the midsole features the FLYTEFOAM™ Lyte technology for improved cushioning and comfort. Adjusted grooves in the sole under the heel create a softer landing.
      • Modified collar with more foam and less adhesive for a comfortable wrap around the ankle.

      The GEL-CUMULUS™ 21 Tokyo features the same last used in the GEL-KAYANO™ 25 and 26, with more height in the toe box and across the ball of the foot.

      Shoe Technology

      Upper: Features a multi-directional mesh that is knit to provide more support and breathability. An internal heel counter provides support reduces the chance of irritation.

      Midsole: FluidRide® combines cushioning and lightweight responsiveness. Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.®) enhances the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. GEL® Cushioning Systems absorb shock during impact and toe-off. Allows for movement in many directions as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. Flytefoam® Midsole technology provides long-lasting, lightweight cushioning.

      Outsole: Guidance Trusstic System® provides a light, stable outsole. AHAR® ASICS High Abrasion Rubber placed in critical areas provides exceptional durability.
