Great Stringer
I am a newbie to stringing and bought it to save money and learn a fun skill. It has certainly filled those requirements and maybe make a little extra money on the side
Item is returnable, but does not qualify for free returns.

I'm very happy with the purchase. The equipment is easy to use and well made.
Yes, there is a learning curve, but overall this is so easy to use and the pro-shop stringer at our club recommended it as well. In his words, it does a great job and pulls tension accurately. We have strung 4 racquets with it and even my 11 year old already knows how to use it and did his own. It comes with quality clamps and other tools you need to get started. However, I would recommend buying a starting clamp that is not included, as it does come in handy to have while stringing.
I purchased this stringer from Holabird back in 2009. I mainly string my own rackets as well as some of the folks in our tennis group. In the 8 years I've had this machine I've strung 86 rackets with it. It's still in perfect shape. The clamps are doing great. It's not the fastest stringer on the market but then again, neither am I. But is does a great job, is very consistent in tensioning, (I measure tension on every racket at center and off center when I'm done to be sure), and is easy to use. I wouldn't use it to string rackets for a living. But for someone like me it is perfect.
I purchased this to teach my son to string his own rackets. He has been playing a lot and wanted to try to offset the cost of going back and forth to the local store. After 4-5 rackets, and with the help of youtube and the instructions, he got the hang of it. He now can try out new strings with less costs.
