This GPS watch helps you evaluate your training status and let you know if you need more recovery or not. When used with a HRM or Running Dynamics pod (sold separately), more advanced training data is available including ground contact time balance, stride length, and vertical ratio. The Safety and tracking features offer incident detection during certain activities by sending your real-time location to emergency contacts through your paired smartphone. This model also lets you sync with music streaming services like Spotify® to easily store and play music with having to bring your phone along.

Battery life is up to 7 days in smartwatch mode and up to 24 hours in GPS mode.
Offers access to free customizable watch faces from the Garmin Connect IQ™ store.
Offers access to free adaptive training plans from Garmin Coach, or the ability to create custom workouts through the Garmin Connect™ online community.

Everything a Recreational Runner Needs

Perfect for the person who who wants the simplicity of a GPS watch with the ability to download music without the hassle of all of the bells and whistles of a smart watch. Pairs to your cell phone and you choose which notifications you want to receive. Very easy to hook into Spotify and blue tooth devices plus all of the other functions of a Garmin. Set your courses, track your gear, dump your Fitbit. This has it all.
