Uncomfortable

The sole is too stiff for me I thought it was going to be a more comfortable shoe but it did not meet my expectations and it didn’t fit as expected

Great cushion and support, different sizing from other Hokas

I've completely worn through one pair of Bondi 6s and liked them very much. I purchased the Gaviotas hoping for an increase in support without compromising the cushioning provided by Hokas. The shoe fits slightly snugger than the Bondi 6, especially with thicker socks for cooler weather. The fit is within wearable limits for the stated size. Given all the changes in the Gaviota AND the snugger fit it's a big change from the Bondi 6 not just an incremental step away. The Gaviotas will be great when the temperatures go into the 90s and make shoes feel like marshmallows but I'm purchasing another pair of Bondis for wearing in cooler weather with slightly thicker socks.

Great Shoes!

I was a Brooks Glycerine guy for years. With their constant redesigning the upper on the shoe. I found less and less support side to side in the ball of my foot. I am on my feet all day, 12000 steps a day. I switched to Gaviota’s about a year ago. Brooks would last me 3-4 months. Hoka’s have a much better life span 6-8 months!
