Hoka One One Tennine Hike GTX

I've been wearing Hoka Stinson ATR4 and ATR5 for a few years. Always fit 9.5 US perfectly (allowing adequate comfort while using orthotics and plenty of toe box comfort on steep descents). With the Tennine Hike GTX I immediately noticed the fit was tighter (toes cramped) so definitely had to move up to size 10 on this shoe. That said, once I dialed that in, these shoes are quite awesome. I thought the HUBBLE heel would be difficult to get used to but after 10 minutes it actually feels quite natural - in fact descending steep technical terrain these feel incredibly stable. (Also FYI - no problems walking down steps or driving a car while wearing these). As usual the cushioning and grip is top notch. Small details - like good laces and hooks make this the best hiking shoe I've ever used.
